This Weekend's Featured Events in the Golden Isles

Looking for something festive to do this weekend? We recommend checking out one (or more!) of these local events:

First Friday in Historic Downtown Brunswick - Visit the beautiful downtown district and enjoy all the galleries, shops, and businesses that will be open late serving snacks with live music in our Signature Squares. It's from 5 pm to 8 pm on Newcastle Street.

Annual Holiday Presentation of Handel's Messiah - The annual community chorus presentation of Handel’s Messiah will take place at 5pm on Saturday, December 7 at Wesley United Methodist Church. Free and open to the public, but seating is limited. 

10th Annual Jingle All the Way 5K - On Saturday morning, December 7, runners wearing jingle bells and holiday attire will hit the road on Jekyll Island in the 10th annual CASA Jingle All the Way 5K and One Mile Fun Run. Proceeds from this holiday-themed run with awards for top finishers, team spirit, best costume, etc. benefit CASA Glynn and CASA Camden and their network of volunteers who support Southeast Georgia children in foster care programs.
