Living on the North End of St Simons Island has many perks! Hampton River Marina- Hampton River Marina is a full-service marine facility located on the Hampton River at the northernmost end of St. Simons Island, Georgia. The modern, six-acre operation includes comprehensive boater and vessel services, including wet slips, dry stack and trailer storage, fuel, boat launching, maintenance, ship store and bait.

Bike Paths -  Newly constructed path that connects the entire residential area leads to the far north end of the Island along Lawrence Road passing Frederica Park along the way.

Frederica Park - Frederica Park is located off of Lawrence Road at the north end of St. Simons Island. A four-acre play field complex surrounded by viewing berms is available for soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, rugby, and other field sports. Locals and visitors can throw frisbee, fly kites, or play their own informal field games. Much of the park is devoted to the Alice Richards Botanical Trail, where native plant species have been re-introduced to land that was used for timber farming for many years. Adjacent to the playfield are two picnic shelters, public restrooms, benches, a children's playground, a dog park and hard surface jogging/running trail around the play field. 

Cannons Point Preserve -  Cannon's Point Preserve is a 600-acre tract of green space at the north end of St. Simons Island open for public exploration. CPP features wild native species, beautiful mature maritime forest, and six miles of marsh-upland interface. The preserve is also is linked to the lower Altamaha River delta which is one of the most biologically rich systems and considered by The Nature Conservancy as a coastal area of highest priority, even internationally. 

Frederica Stables - The stables at Frederica offers trail rides, a riding school and boarding opportunities. You don't have to have a horse to enjoy the stables either. The public is more than welcome to walk through and enjoy petting and looking at all the magnificent breeds of horses. You are welcome to bring a bag of cut up apples or carrots to feed the horses as well! Fun events throughout the year are also offered, such as pony rides and summer camps.
