Privateer Lynx is a replica of an 1812 privateer with the same name. The Top Sail Schooner ship is out of Nantucket, Mass. and is owned and operated by the Lynx Educational Foundation.  The Lynx mission is to teach people about maritime history during the 1812 war when fighting for our independence and for fair trade.

The ship will be open to the public offering free dockside deck tours as well as educational programs to schools and youth groups. It made a grand arrival at Morningstar Marina on November 10. The Lynx and crew is offering daily public sailing which is an interactive sailing experience aboard the historical Privateer Lynx.
